IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL CLIENTS

From 25 May 2009, all paper visitor/tourist, student and temporary residence visa for Hungarian nationals and persons resident in Hungary are processed at the Australian Embassy in Vienna, Austria. All requests for visa evidencing are also processed in Vienna.

Family migration visa applications for Hungarians are processed by the Australian Embassy in Berlin; citizenship by descent applications are processed by the Australian High Commission in London.

The Australian Embassy in Budapest does not process visa or citizenship applications or provide visa evidencing services. All applications from residents of Hungary should be lodged at the Australian Embassy in Vienna. Please note that the change of processing location does not affect your access to visa and citizenship information (including forms) which will continue to be provided through the Australian Embassy in Budapest.
